Guest Accommodations

When is check-in and check-out? Check-in is 3 PM and check-out is 12 PM. Guests must be age 21 or above to check-in. 

Can I book with IHG Rewards? Crowne Plaza Reading is a proud member of IHG Rewards. Book exclusive member rates and earn points during your stay at our IHG hotel!

Do you have special perks for business travelers? Book one of our King Rooms in the Executive Tower which have a nightly quiet zone and upgraded amenities. The Executive Floor also has a private Executive Crowne Lounge with a Weekly Manager's Reception on weekday evenings.

Can I book a block of rooms? Fill out our groups form and our team will be in touch to set up your reservation.

Do you have connecting rooms? Yes, we have several connecting room options based on the type of rooms requested.

Do you allow pets? We are a pet-friendly hotel with direct access to an outdoor walking area.

Do you charge for parking? We offer complimentary flat level parking to all our guests.

Meetings & Events

What event spaces do you have? Our hotel has over 17,000 square feet of meeting space, including an expansive ballroom, seven meeting rooms, an intimate wine room, and outdoor reception space with a gazebo.

Can I rent the event space? Yes! We do charge room rental fees for meetings that need a simple room setup; however no outside catering is permitted.

Do you offer on-site catering? Choose from a variety of menus, prepared fresh by our award-winning food and beverage team. 

Do you allow outside catering? Our award-winning culinary and event team can assist you in planning the perfect menu for your event. Special allowances for outside catering is welcome for religious reasons.

Do you have audiovisual equipment available? The Crowne Plaza is partnered with Technicom Audio Visual, who are available to assist you in the planning process for all your audiovisual needs at an additional fee

Can you do wedding ceremonies in addition to the reception? Absolutely!

Is there a list of preferred vendors? We believe in allowing our guests the freedom to work with the vendors they entrust for their event. While we can make recommendations, we do not require you to use those recommended.

How soon should I book my event? Every event and client is different. It’s always best to book sooner rather than later as our large hotel is extremely popular for State Conventions, Proms, and other large events that may book years in advance.

Do you offer wedding packages? We do. Our wedding professionals are here to guide you every step of the way to create a one-of-a-kind event for your special day. 

Dining Experiences

Is there a restaurant on-site? We are home to a number of eateries! Join us at our restaurant, Prime Steak & Wine, enjoy nightly events at Goodnites Lounge & Nightclub, or indulge in a private dinner at our Chef’s Table.

Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Mission BBQ, Toyko Hibachi, Plaza Azteca, and many more restaurants are within walking distance.

Is there room service? Order up! Room service is available during our standard breakfast and dinner hours.

Can guests visit the pastry studio? Guests must book in advance to schedule their time in the Pastry Studio. To inquire, contact Christopher Reber at 610-236-4306 or by email. Chef Christopher Polk specializes in unique and interactive experiences such as a private pastry class or wine and chocolate pairings.
